Founded by the people who used to reject your packages.
LoanPacket was founded in 2025 in Ahmedabad by a former SBA 7(a) credit underwriter and a document intelligence engineer. Between them they had reviewed more than 2,000 broker packages and built the extraction systems banks use to read them. The structural problem was obvious from both sides: commercial loan packaging is a $50B market still run on re-typed spreadsheets, and the cost lands on commission-only brokers and under-staffed community bank credit teams.
The thesis is narrow on purpose. Extract exactly what the return says, calculate exactly what SOP 50 10 7.1 requires, document every adjustment, and let the broker and the lender make every judgment call.
Operating principles
Extract, never invent
Every figure in a LoanPacket output traces to a form, schedule and line. If we cannot read it, we route it to review. We never fill gaps with estimates.
The SOP is the spec
SBA SOP 50 10 7.1 and institutional credit policy define our calculations. Rule changes ship within ten business days with a public changelog.
Human review stays in command
Brokers decide which add-backs to include and how to tell the story. The platform computes and documents; it does not decide credit.
Borrower data is not training data
Tax returns, statements and credit files are never used to train models, ours or anyone else's. This is a contractual guarantee, not a setting.
Auditability over cleverness
Every edit is logged with who, when and the prior value. A lender can reconstruct any number in the memo from the evidence attached.
Speed is a feature of trust
Fast, consistent packages make lenders trust the source. We measure ourselves on first-submission approvals, not on pages generated.
